Froukje Shares Her Experience:
Q. What was the most important lesson you learnt at the College?
Froukje: The Climate Change College really enriched my life. I learned that it all starts with yourself! So many people think they can’t make a difference because they are alone. And so many people don’t really know what they can do. But even small actions help! I learned that much is possible. as long as you believe in it and do it!

Q.What did you gain personally from being part of the College?

Froukje: Freedom in brainstorming and creating. Realistic thinking. Inspiring and being inspired. Eagerness to reach goals. New ways to look at things. Drive and motivation. Standing up for your ideas. You see what it spells? FRIENDS. My own climate change buddies!

Q. How are you using those skills now?
Froukje: Even though I have graduated from the college, I still take every opportunity to show and tell people how they can make a difference. The communication skills we learned in the college are so useful, I use them every day. I am looking at ways to bring the message to people on television and still hope to make a beautiful documentary one day which will open the eyes of the people that are still in denial.
