Climate Change College offers the chance for 18-30 year olds to educate themselves about the causes, politics and potential solutions of climate change with the emphasis on developing their own Climate Change Campaign.
The programme spans six months (part time) and consists of the following elements:
- On-line e-learning modules (Jan-Feb, 2 hours per week)
- Three day conference with lectures & workshops (end of March).
- 10 Day Arctic Field Programme (end of April/May depending on weather and scientific programme status).
At the end of the course, each ambassador will be tasked with signing up a minimum of 500 people to become online-campaigners for WWF’s PowerSwitch campaign. PowerSwitch demands governments around the world switch funding to clean energy programmes.
